Professor Karjala also maintains the Opposing Copyright Extension web site, which seeks to promote dialogue and political action aimed at protecting and enlarging the public domain and specifically fought the recent extension of the term of copyright protection (unfortunately now upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court).
